Can a electric ornament be plugged into a strand of LED lights?

I have a lot of Hallmark ornaments that plug into empty bulb sockets on the old mini light christmas strands. Can these be plugged in to a LED christmas light strand? Most of the ornaments light up and have recordings. I have not purchased any LED lights yet because I have not found any that look like the warm white (even though they are labeled warm on the box) of the incandescent lights, so I'm not sure of the socket shape and weather they are compatible electrically.
