Any wives with marines currently in Afghanistan?

As a family we've done 2 deployments to Iraq, but my husband leaves for Afghanistan soon, so this will be drastically different. I'm preparing for very little communications, and for them to have only bare essentials available (way different than Iraq right now) While respecting OPSEC, can any wives tell me what current conditions are like? What's the communication availability? Mail turn-around time? Amenities available? Most requested/needed care pkg items? Thanks ladies!
