I hate to be contrary, Randy, but all 7.62 NATO is non corrosive by specification, regardless of manufacture date. If it has the circled cross on the headstamp, you're good to go. One advantage of shooting mil surplus is that it is deliberately downloaded and works at lower pressures than .308 Win, thus the warning not to use .308 Win in small arms chambered specifically for 7.62 NATO.
