Jockstrap as underwear waistband riding up? Need help?!?

those who wear jocks as normal underwear does the waistband ride up above clothes so people can tell its a jockstrap the same way thongs ride up above jeans. if so how do you stop it, does a wide band jock solve the problem. i wanna get one but this is the only thing stopping me.
